Important Kosher Certification Updates

As we navigate our daily grocery trips, it’s crucial to stay vigilant about the kosher status of our food, especially when shopping online. On September 15, 2025, cRc Kashrus issued an important reminder to consumers to consistently check product labels for kosher certification. This advice is particularly relevant for those purchasing items through various online retailers, where errors can occur more frequently. Recently, cRc Kashrus highlighted two specific products that have garnered attention. First, the Member’s Mark Ranch Dressing and Dip, which is correctly certified as cRc-Dairy, has been mistakenly labeled by some online platforms like Sam's Club and Amazon with the cRc Pareve certification. Thankfully, corrective actions have been initiated to address this error and ensure customers are accurately informed. Additionally, the Golden Crown Yellow Rice with Saffron has also come under scrutiny. This product, being sold online, is displayed with images featuring the cRc logo; however, it is important to note that it is not, in fact, kosher. Again, necessary corrective measures are being taken to rectify the situation. In light of these updates, we urge all members of our community to double-check product certifications before making purchases. Being aware of kosher status not only helps in complying with dietary laws but also supports our community's values and practices. Let's stay informed and ensure our choices reflect our commitment to these principles!
